Basic Trainings

This is the required Basic Training (in Brain Injury and Person-Centered Planning) for individuals to become providers under the A.B.I. Waiver Program.  To apply to become a provider, you are invited to contact Marihonor Flagg, Supervisor Provider and Training Services at 860.749.8833. Providers are only required to attend one class.  Each class covers the same curriculum, they are just offered in different locations.

Advanced Trainings

Every quarter a different topic in brain injury is presented through Advanced Trainings to encourage providers to expand their knowledge of the issues impacting individuals with brain injury.  The training is "advanced" in that it explores one specific area in brain injury in great detail.  The topics are chosen through feedback from providers.  The training is free of charge and is offered to all existing A.B.I. Waiver Providers. Certificates will be mailed to attendees at the conclusion of the training.

Registration

Pre-Registration is requested at least one-week prior to the training and may be done by opening, printing the registration form to Allied via mail or fax.  You may also register by telephone by calling  860-749-8833 and speaking with Marihonor Flagg. Registrations are accepted via email  by submitting your request to:

mflagg@alliedgroup.org.

You will receive details and directions with confirmation of your pre-registration.  *When registering, please indicate if you require any special accommodations.  If you require sign language interpretation, please call ONE MONTH ahead if possible.

You are encouraged to attend as many advanced training workshops as you would like and you may register early if you wish.  Reminder calls will be made prior to the training date.
